In the Cave of Hira, during the sacred month of Ramadan, the Angel Jibreel (Gabriel) appeared with the divine command 'Read!' Revealing the first verses of Surah Al-Alaq, the eternal light of the Quran descended upon earth.

"The Prophet (PBUH) narrated that Allah said: 'When Allah created the creation, He wrote in His Book with Him above His Throne: In truth, My mercy overcomes My wrath.' (Hadith Qudsi - Sahih Bukhari & Muslim)"
